Ingredients
  1. 1 tbsp Oil
  2. Spinach 500 gram
  3. 2 T/S Cumin Seed
  4. ¼ T/S Mustard Seed
  5. ½ T/S Turmeric Powder
  6. 2 Green Chilies Finely Chopped
  7. ½ tbsp Ginger Paste
  8. 1 T/S Garam Masala Powder
  9. 1 T/S Fennel Seed Powder
  10. 1 Bay Leaf
  11. 4 Medium Sized Tomatoes
  12. 9.6 gram Almond
  13. 1 T/S Dried Pomegranate Powder
  14. 1 T/S Sugar
  15. Salt As Per Taste
  16. GARLIC 4 CLOVES
Steps
  1. Take a pan with oil place on medium heat. Once oil is hot saute cumin seed, mustard seed, bayleaf and sugar. I forgot to add earlier added bayleaf later.
  2. Once they crackle add green chilies. Saute for 30 secs more.
  3. Add spinach puree + tomato puree. Stir for some time simmer for 2 to 3 mins.
  4. Now it's time to add ginger paste, anardana powder, turmeric, fennel seed powder, roasted cumin seed powder and garam masala.
  5. Allow to cook until it starts bubbling. Now add almond+walnut paste.
  6. Give a nice stir and cook for 2 to 3 mins more. Lastly add salt for seasoning. Switch off the gas.
  7. Now take mustard oil and place on fire. Add chopped garlic to it.
  8. Saute until they are light brown in color please don't burn them.
  9. Pour the tempering over the cooked spinach. Serve lasooni palak hot with roti Or rice.
