Ingredients
  1. 1/2 kg (1 small) Winter Melon
  2. 1 tablespoon Of Vegetable Oil
  3. 1 big onion, sliced
  4. Salt As Needed
  5. pinch Of Turmeric Powder
  6. 3-4 green chilies, sliced in half
  7. 3-4 cloves of garlic, sliced
Steps
  1. Peel the skin of the chalkumra and grate it into thin light slices.
  2. Heat a pan with oil and fry the onion and garlic slices.
  3. Sprinkle the salt and add the green chilies.
  4. Add the chalkumra slices and sprinkle just a pinch of turmeric powder.
  5. Stir and cook until the chalkumra slices become soft and the water released dries up.
