Ingredients
  1. 250g kabuli channa or chick peas soaked and bOiled with 3 cups of water
  2. 2 Small Sized Onions
  3. 2 Tomatoes
  4. 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  5. 1 Teaspon Black Cumin Seeds Powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilly Powder
  7. 1 Black Cardamom
  8. 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  9. 1 tbsp Dhania Powder
  10. Salt Acc to taste
  11. Chaat Masala For Garnishing
  12. Some Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnishing
  13. 2-3 green chillies
  14. 3-4 tablespoon oil
Steps
  1. Grind the onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste together to make a thick paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add onion paste to it, saute until golden brown.
  3. While onions are getting done, combine all the masalas and dry roast on slow flame, then grind into a powder in blender
  4. Now make tomato puree and add it to the browned onions.Stir the mixture well.
  5. Add ground masalas as well as salt into the pan.Stir well.
  6. Now add the boiled chick peas and let cook for 5-6 minutes till nice and thick.
  7. Garnish with some chaat masala and coriander leaves and serve.
