Ingredients
  1. Green Chilly-1 Chopped
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Potatoes- 4
  4. Spring onions- 4-5
  5. Ghee- 2 tbsp
  6. Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Steps
  1. Boil the potatoes. Cool, peel and chop into squares.Wash and clean spring onions, separate the bulb and greens, chop both finely.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan, add the cumin and the spring onion white part(bulb). Saute till brown, add the potatoes and stir.
  3. After a few seconds, add in the turmeric, green chilli, garam masala and salt. Keep stirring continuously for a couple of seconds, switch off and serve hot garnished with some of the spring onion greens. Goes well with rotis.
