  1. 2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  2. 2 cup Milk Powder
  3. 2 cup Sugar ( as per taste - I add 1 and 1/2 cup)
  4. 1 Cup Home made Ghee/ Butter
  5. 2 tbsp Baking Powder
  6. 1 tbsp Soda
  7. 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  8. 1/2 tbsp Vanilla Essence
  9. 2 cup Milk ( room temp)
  1. In a bowl, mix in the wheat flour, milk powder, sugar, baking powder and soda together.
  2. Then add milk and ghee/butter and stir it till you get thick consistency.
  3. Divide this mixture into two bowls, add cocoa powder in one and vanilla essence in the other bowl.
  4. Beat these mixtures with the help of a hand mixer for 5 minutes.
  5. Grease the cake pan with butter.
  6. Preheat the cooker without lead for 5 minutes.
  7. In a cake pan, pour the batter in the center by adding two spoon of vanilla batter and then cocoa batter alternately. When all the batter has been poured, tap the bottom on your work surface to ensure that there aren't any air bubbles.
  8. Bake this cake for 30-35 minutes until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Then leave it to cool.
  9. Serve this cake warm.
