Ingredients
  1. 2 fish cut into 1/1/2 inch pieces
  2. 2 cups Yoghurt
  3. 1-2 cups Water
  4. 1tsp Turmeric
  5. 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  6. 1 tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
  7. 1 tbsp Besan
  8. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  9. 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  10. 1 tbsp Oil
  11. 1 tsp Sugar
  12. Salt to taste

Steps
  1. Marinate the fish with 1 tsp of turmeric and 2 tsp of salt for some time.
  2. Mix the yogurt, water, besan along with jeera, turmeric and coriander powder in a bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, jeera and fennel seeds as well as asafoetida and curry leaves.
  4. Immediately add the yoghurt mixture and keep stirring till it gets to boiling.
  5. Add the fish pieces and let the curry simmer.
  6. Stir only once in the first couple of minutes, then let it cook for about 8 minutes.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
